Early access

It is not finished, and we would rather tell you which parts.

DotCensus is being built in the open. Here is what works today and what does not, so you can decide whether it is useful to you yet.

Working today

  • Scanning a public site and inventorying its cookies, storage and third-party services
  • A branded, accessible banner and preference centre
  • Holding known scripts and gating embeds until their category is allowed
  • Google Consent Mode and tag-manager signalling
  • Consent receipts with the policy, banner and manifest versions that gave them meaning

Not yet

  • —Self-serve signup and billing — early access is onboarded by hand
  • —Scheduled scanning and continuous monitoring
  • —The published REST API, webhooks and framework packages
  • —CMS plugins for WordPress, Shopify and Webflow
  • —IAB TCF registration and Google CMP certification

Per-capability status lives on the standards status page, which is the page we update when something changes.

What we will not do while you wait

We will not give you a launch date we cannot hold, and we will not tell you a certification is imminent because it would help close this conversation. If DotCensus is not the right answer for your site yet, the most useful thing we can do is say so and point you at what your scan found.
